New Bugatti 16C Galibier teaser video released

After a bunch of reports telling us that Bugatti has been moving forward with the production of the Galibier sedan it was expected to launch by 2013, but now we heard some sad news that the plan has now been delayed till 2015 or even later. Finally, the company has released a new teaser video of their all new four door concept – Bugatti 16C Galibier supercar.

It was first seen as a concept back in 2009 prior to Frankfurt Motor Show. Bugatti 16C Galibier is powered by a W16 8.0L engine generating 1000 hp. It was expected earlier that Bugatti will be launching 16C Galibier sedan in 2013, but the plan has now been delayed till 2015 or even later.

The Bugatti video which is revealed here shows that the Galibier design will be based on Bugatti Type 35 which has also inspired 1001 HP Bugatti Veyron super car. Deciphered from the video is the traditional Bugatti radiator with round LED lights with a clamshell running through the length of the vehicle true to the brand identity of Bugatti.

As per the source, the engine is powered by an 8.0 liter 16 cylinder engine fitted with two stage supercharging system that also includes an ethanol mode. Interiors are seen in simple design with basic essentials seen on the dashboard. Parmigiani, the Swiss clock makers have created a special removable Reverso Tourbillon clock for the Galibier 16C which can also be removed and worn on the wrist due to its innovative leather strap.
