Previously we had covered the article on New 2011 Bentley Continental GT which was as exciting as any luxury car’s launch would be but disappointing. Bentley Motors will launch the new Continental GT in India in April, 2011. The Continental GT will set you back by 2+ crore rupees will be retailed through Bentley’s official dealer Exclusive Motors Pvt Ltd could take up to 6 months to deliver the car from the time of booking. The 4-seater Bentley has power going to all the wheels.
It sports a 6.0 liter, 12-cylinder, twin-turbocharged powertrain has a capable of pumping out 75PS (567bhp/423kW) and 700Nm (516lb ft) of torque and this is mated to a new Quickshift transmission which enables double downshifts. A new six-speed Quickshift transmission helps it on its way and 100kph comes up in just 4.6 seconds. The car will accelerate till 197mph (318km/h). Thanks to advanced FlexFuel technology it can also run on both standard unleaded petrol (gasoline) and sustainable bioethanol (up to E85) or any mix of the two.
The interior offers new levels of cabin design, comfort and hand crafted luxury. Some of the features so to speak are touchscreen infotainment system, state-of-the-art navigation, Google Maps and entertainment, while the latest Balanced Mode Radiator speaker technology and Dirac Dimensions digital sound processing deliver enhanced audio quality.
