According to our friends at GoaOnWheels, the luxury car maker from Germany, Audi India is scheduled to launch the all-new 2013 Audi R8 model on 21st January. Furthermore, they reveal the new Audi R8 will be unveiled in the presence of the star cast of film Race 2. However, nothing has been official from the company yet!
The 2013 model of R8 will be seen with a host of changes on the exteriors. The front and rear ends of the car will be styled smartly. The front of 2014 Audi R8 will come with refreshed headlamps that use LED technology. The front grille accompanied by the side mirror are also been refurbished. On the other hand, rear-end will have revised bumpers and new taillights along with reworked tail pipes.
Under the hood, the new Audi R8 will also have tweaked engine options. The 4.2-litre V8 engine (430HP) and 5.2 Litre V10 engine (525HP) will be at your disposal. There will be an Audi R8 V10 Plus model would be featuring 5.2-litre V10 engine that will be churning out a whopping 550HP of peak power output. These engines will now come coupled with 7-speed S tronic dual clutch gearbox, which would enhance the performance of the car big time.
Audi now focuses to become No. 1 luxury carmaker in India by 2015. It has also come to light that a anonymous person from Mangalore has already booked the new 2013 Audi R8, once delivered it will be the first R8 in the city.
