Hyundai Cars India has updated the Creta lineup for the 2017 model year with more features, a new diesel and a dual-tone variant. The Executive variant ‘E+’ in 1.4-litre Diesel and SX+ Dual Tone trim has been added in 1.6 -litre Petrol and 1.6-litre Diesel portfolio.
The company has updated the Creta’s 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto MirrorLink connectivity, and an Arkamys Sound Mood system as standard, across the S+, SX+, SX+ Dual Tone & SX(O) variants.
Apart from the above update, Hyundai has introduced the Creta ‘E+’ variant at an All India Special Price of Rs 9.99 lakh, added in the 1.4-litre diesel was earlier available only with the 1.6-litre petrol unit. The E+ diesel though misses-out the 5.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system (getting a 2-din analogue system instead), Bluetooth and steering-mounted controls offered on the equivalent petrol sibling.
Additionally, a new SX+ Dual Tone variant has been offered with blacked-out roof & pillars, and sporty black spoiler. This variant is available in two colour choices – White & Black and Red & Black. The dual tone models will also get a black dashboard layout with silver accents and red & black seat upholstery. It can only be opted with either a 1.6-litre petrol or a 1.6-litre diesel engine, both with 6-speed manual transmissions, no automatic on offer.
Mechanicals remain unchanged, with a 126 BHP/ 260 Nm 1.6-litre diesel engine paired either to a 6-speed AT or a 6-speed MT, 89 BHP/ 220 Nm 1.4-litre diesel mill can be opted only with a 6-speed manual gearbox, 123 BHP/ 151 Nm 1.6-litre petrol unit comes with a choice of both 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions.
New 2017 Hyundai Creta now offers ABS & Dual Airbags as standard to ensure safe drive.
