The top-of-the-line SX+ variant will now be offered with a new dual-tone colour options. However, the dual-tone option will only be exclusive to the manual transmission.
The dual-tone Creta will be on offer in 2 colours – Polar White and Red Passion, with Phantom Black coloured roof and pillars. This trim level will also get all-black interiors with Red and Black seat upholstery, while other models stick to the beige and black combination. Also a 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels will be offered on the dual-tone trim.
Apart from introducing the new variant, the Creta S+, SX+, SX+ Dual Tone & SX[O] will get a addition of an Arkamys Sound Mood system as standard, and the 7-inch AVN system gains Apple CarPlay and, Android Auto MirrorLink connectivity.
Another interesting update is that the E+ grade that was earlier only available with the 1.6-litre petrol engine, can now also be opted with the 1.4-litre CRDi diesel engine with a manual gearbox, while the entry-level E trim is now only available with the petrol model. The E+ diesel will miss-out some equips like the 5.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Bluetooth and steering-mounted controls offered on the petrol model.
Based on the same SX+ variant, a dual-tone black-and-white Creta is on-sale as the ‘1st Anniversary Edition’. With the introduction of the new dual-tone model, it is likely to be discontinued.
