With the increasing demand in luxury cars in India brands like Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar have constantly kept upgrading their cars to suit the market trend. Keeping-up with the market demand, Audi Indian unveiled the latest version of its sedan the Audi A4.
The new A4 is built on MLB platform and a hybrid chassis made of steel and aluminium that makes it 120 kg lighter in weight even though its bigger in size than the on-going version. The sedan bears the familiar look, but has a distinctive sharper look with the new LED lamps that are significant to the A4. The single frame hexagonal grille receives design cues from the new Q7 and other styling changes based on company’s new design language. This makes new A4 is the most aerodynamic sedan in its class. The rear gets new LED lights that look like an evolution of the outgoing model.
On the interior, the new A4 will be equipped with the features like the Audi Virtual Cockpit with 12.3-inch LCD screen, new gear selector and all-digital instrument cluster along with the host of other luxury features.
The new A4 will be offered in India in two engine options, a 1.8-litre petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing a power output of 170bhp and 177bhp respectively, coupled to an Audi 7-speed S Tronic unit. With the prices expected to range from Rs. 32 lakh to Rs. 41 lakh.
