The Italian high performance motorcycle brand – Moto Guzzi, is all set to launch their superbike in India by early 2013. And they have already made their Indian debut with its first showroom unveiled at Gurgaon. The Italian brand Piaggio is already popular for its three-wheeler and four-wheeler commercial vehicles and now wants to play a crucial role in two-wheelers as well.
The European brand has already gained enough popularity when its iconic premium scooter brand – Vespa hit the Indian market. Now the company plans to introduce its cruiser brand, Moto Guzzi, and also expand its product base of the superbike brand Aprilia.
Moto Guzzi setup its second dealership of Aprilia in India called Northwards Motors, which is functional and already started taking pre-orders. Soon they will be setting up a service center, which is currently under construction. The Griso 1200 8V is currently open for bookings. The Grisco 1200 8V is powered by a four-stroke, V-twin, 1151cc engine that produces 110 BHP of power.
Looks like 2013 is a confusing and promising year for biking enthusiasts as there will be plenty of bikes to choose from. We hope Piaggio brings their fine range of motorcycle to the Indian market pretty soon.
