Moto Guzzi the maker of premium Italian motorcycle has launched its Bellagio bike in India. The bike is priced at 15.2 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi) and is available at a six week waiting period at the Northwards Motors dealership in Gurgaon. Northwards Motors is the first and only dealer of the Moto Guzzi motorcycle in India. Moto Guzzi is a part of Piaggio started its operations last year by launching the Griso 1200 8V and the Breva V1100.
The Bellagio is powered by a 935cc air-cooled, four stroke, V-Twin engine. The engine has a 8-valve DOHC mechanism that produces a power of 74PS with the max torque of 78 Nm. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox, which transmits the power to the rear wheel through a shaft drive mechanism. The belly of the Bellagio can hold up to 19-litres of fuel and weighs just 224 kgs. The twin disc brakes at the front and single rear disc brakes are a standard feature on the bike. The Bellagio has a telescopic front and monoshock suspension unit at the rear ensuring a smooth ride.
As of now, the Ballagio will only be available in Black color. The Bellagio will be shipped to India as a Completely Build Unit (CBU). The Bellagio will compete with Ducati Streetfighter and high-end models of the Harley Davidson. Moto Guzzi is satisfied with the sales number coming from the bookings so far.
