Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the new 2015 XUV500 facelift offered with restyled exteriors and updated interiors, now comes with new variants and added features at starting price of Rs 11.21 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
2015 Mahindra XUV500 (facelift) – FrontView
The company has added a new front grille with chrome inserts, static bending projector headlamps with light guides, new Scorpio-like ‘S’ shaped daytime running LEDs and chrome-finished new L-shaped fog-lamps, the model also sports a wider air dam and more muscular bonnet. The changes at rear are limited to a larger number plate housing and chrome garnish. Side profile gets a chrome lining for the side windows and a new set of 10-spoke alloy wheels.
2015 Mahindra XUV500 (facelift) – DashView
On the inside, the material quality and components of the 2015 XUV500 remains similar to the old model, however, the ambience inside has improved a lot and looks lot more up-market than before. The additional features in the cabin includes the push start button, electric sunroof, 7-inch infotainment system, 6-way power seats, logo puddle lamps, blue lounge lighting, illuminated scuff plates, reverse camera with assist and passive key less entry.
2015 Mahindra XUV500 (facelift) – SideView
The XUV500 with the same 2.2-litre engine now does 16 kpl against 15.1 kpl of the outgoing model. This engine produces 140 bhp and 330 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox with 2WD and 4WD options like before on offer. No automatic transmission option is on offer. Automatic variant of the XUV500 could launch during the upcoming festive season.
2015 Mahindra XUV500 (facelift) – RearView
The XUV500 facelift will be available in 7 colours (2 of which are new) – Dolphin Grey, Tuscan Red, Mondust Silver, Opulent Purple, Volcano Black, Sunset Orange (new) and Pearl White (new). A total of 6 variants are on offer, of which 2 are AWD and 4 are FWD.
