Renault Duster has been able to deliver decent performance ever since its launch in the SUV segment. It clicked with the consumer because of the tough stance and off-roading facilities. However, now some experimentation has begun on the part of a Renault dealer in India. The dealer has altered the exteriors to give the Duster a more adventurous look.
This modified Renault Duster has two toned body wrap: Matte Black and Ocean Blue. These wrapping will cost you about INR 1 Lac. The dealer has added 20 inch alloy wheels to the SUV along with low profile tyres. They are usually easily available in after-markets. The modified SUV also has custom headlights that have been brought from Taiwan. They cost about INR 40 thousand per set. New taillights with LEDs have also been incorporated and they cost about INR 35 thousand.
The makeover also includes new Daytime Running Lights costing INR 7 thousand and fog lights at the front costing INR 20 thousand. The Renault Dealer has also added a HandiRack that can hold luggage weighing about 80 kg and can be stored by folding and keeping it in the boot. It costs nearly INR 7 thousand. The window tints have also been done and it lends to the SUV a more expensive and exclusive appearance.
At the time, Renault is happily celebrating the second anniversary of this SUV and has now launched a second anniversary Duster limited edition. This new SUV comes at a price of INR 8.8 Lacs. It has been available for sale since 20th July, 2014. The second anniversary Duster limited edition comes with special body cladding, smoked headlamps, armor lamps at front and Amazon green exterior paint plus interiors in neon shades. The buyer of this limited edition SUV will also get a ‘Gang of Dusters’ membership. They will be eligible for availing extended warranty of 2 years over the 4 year standard warranty.
