The Hector Plus 6-seater SUV has been launched by MG in India. It is available in four models with prices starting at Rs. 13,48,800 (ex-showroom).
The Hector Plus is based on the standard Hector, but comes with three rows of seats and captain’s seats in the second row. The SUV’s subtle exterior updates include revised front and rear bumpers, reworked headlamp clusters and a new system. It’s having redesigned rear fascia and fake chrome exhaust tips.
Inside, the Hector Plus comes with a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment header with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, hands-free tail gate, heated ORVMs and electric front seats. Security features include 6 airbags, ABS, ESC, hill-holding assistance, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system and a 360-degree camera.
There are three engine options available for the Hector Plus. Those include a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 168 BHP and 350 Nm, coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission, a 1.5-litre turbo-oil engine that produces 141 BHP and 250 Nm coupled to a 6-speed DCT as well as a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid powertrain that is available with a 6-speed manual transmission.
