Mercedes-Maybach has unveiled its first SUV based on the GLS.
The SUV comes with a windshield with vertical slats flanked by LED headlights on the front, a Mercedes emblem on the roof, rear chrome trims and rectangular tailpipes. It has a chrome-plated B-pillar, surrounded by chrome windows, Maybach logo on the D-pillar, and automatically swinging boards. The car rides on 22-inch or 23-inch alloy wheels with multiple speeds. It has a length of 5,205 mm, width of 2,030 mm and height of 1,838 mm and a wheelbase of 3,135 mm. As an option, eight dual-tone paint schemes are available.
The SUV has an optional wood trim with a dual-tone leather interior. It has a Burmester surround sound system, two 12.3-inch screens, an optional AIR-BALANCE package, a panoramic sunroof, massage seats, reclining rear seats.
Powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine generating 550 BHP and 730 Nm, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is equipped with a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The car comes with a four-wheel drive system and a 48V mild-hybrid system. It is said that the 0-100 km / h time is 4.9 seconds and it is believed that the top speed is 250 km / h.
