A-Class & B-Class ‘Night Edition’ launched by Mercedes-Benz – 100 units each

Mercedes-Benz has introduced special editions of the A-Class and the B-Class in India. Called the Night Edition, was launched by Roland Folger, MD & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India.

The A-Class and B-Class Night Editions are limited to 100 units each.

The new Night Editions will be limited to only 100 units each of the A-Class and B-Class. Both the cars get black detailing on ORVMs, 17-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, grille, front & rear bumpers, and the ‘Night Edition’ moniker adds to the overall exclusive appeal of the vehicle.

On the inside, the Night Edition models gain leather wrapping on the multi-function steering wheel, a larger 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Further an updated seat and upholstery material with ARTICO leather and fabric that get contrast stitching. The seats also have received cushion length adjustment feature that offer more comfort than the regular model.

Although the A-Class and the B-Class Night Editions have received several upgrades inside-out, the powertrain remains unchanged. Available with petrol and diesel engine options, a 1.6-litre petrol engine develops 121 BHP and 200 Nm of torque and a diesel unit draws power from a 2.0-litre unit rated at 134 BHP and 300 Nm. Both engines are available with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.
