Indian’s no.1 passenger car maker, Maruti Suzuki is leaving no stone un-turned to taste the success in the compact SUV segment.
The company has already tasted the success in the small hatchback and premium hatchback segment with the iconic Alto and Swift through the decade, surpassing its own records year after year. Even the DZire has been the best-selling entry-level sedan for the last 3 years in the country. The Dzire is the only sedan in the top 5 list every month in India’s highest selling passenger cars.
Now Maruti Suzuki wants to strengthen its presence in the entry-level SUV segment with the launch of Maruti YBA Compact SUV. We’ve already shown you a bunch of spyshots, but this time we have much clearer photos. This seems to be enough for us to tell that the upcoming Maruti YBA is no non-sense SUV. The head-lamps and tail-lamps design seems to be inspired from the BMW X range of SUVs.
The major highlight of latest spyshots obtained is the dashboard which has a typical Maruti-look more over inspired by the flagship S-Cross featuring all piano-black interior with silver inserts. The YBAs features seen include steering-mounted controls, touchscreen SmartPlay infotainment system, automatic climate control, fabric seats, cup holder, twin-pod instrument cluster with MID screen and tweeters on ORVMs mount.
