Mumbai-based auto design firm, Ferrite Motors has showcased the heavily modified Maruti Swift at the 2012 Autocar Performance Show called ‘The Grunge’. It is essentially a first generation Maruti Swift seen with a new front and rear fascia, new body skirts, enhanced paint, extended roof spoiler and flared wheel arches. The Swift, however only retains its roofline and rear quarter glass from its original design.
Surprisingly, no engine modification will be made instead the same 1.2-litre petrol or 1.3-litre diesel has to tug the extra weight. The tuning company has given the Swift bigger alloy wheels and chunky rubber. Transformation is in terms of a complete make-over to the exteriors. The price of this customization is yet to be known.
