Maruti Suzuki ‘Ertiga Green’ CNG model

Maruti Suzuki India Limited, country’s largest car manufacturer, recently announced the launch of the CNG variant of Ertiga, 7-seater utility vehicle coinciding with Environment month, in June-2013. With this launch, Ertiga will now be available in all three fuel variants: CNG, petrol and diesel.

Ertiga Green will be available in LXi and VXi variants. The Ertiga is the only factory fitted CNG vehicle in its segment. Ertiga’s CNG system is fitted on the conventional assembly line. This ensures a consistently high quality as the vehicles pass through the stringent checks of the assembly line manufacturing process. Ertiga Green will offer a mileage of a 22.80 Kms/Kg.

The factory-fitted CNG Ertiga ensures consistently high performance and a driving experience thanks to the contemporary i-GPI (intelligent-Gas Port Injection) technology. The i-GPI technology uses a Dual Engine Control Unit that delivers calibrated quantity of fuel to the engine, leading to more efficient fuel usage and consistent high performance.

‘Ertiga Green’ is the sixth vehicle from Maruti Suzuki with factory fitted CNG segment. Alto, Wagon R, Eeco, SX4 and Estilo are already offered with factory fitted CNG option. The Ertiga Green will be available in states with CNG infrastructure including Delhi NCR, Gujarat, Mumbai, Pune, and parts of Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

The factory-fitted CNG vehicles in Maruti Suzuki range score high on safety and reliability. At the same time they allow customers to enjoy full benefits of seamless service and warranty across the company’s national service network of over 2900 service stations.
