After the tremendous outcome of Ertiga in the recent months, Maruti Suzuki has planned to launch the green version of Ertiga i,e Ertiga CNG in next 2-3 months, it might hit the showrooms in the mid of this year.Currently, the company is selling 5000-6000 units of Ertiga (both petrol and diesel) every month and is expecting to sell atleast 1000-1500 units of the new CNG version of Ertiga.
Maruti Suzuki has planned so in order to cover the gap and also introducing the first CNG variants of MPV in the Indian market. As for the competitors, Ertiga has close competitions with its rivals such as Mahindra Quanto and Renault Duster. Coming to the technical specifications, Maruti Ertiga CNG would be powered with maximum power of 85 BHP and torque around 115 BHP. As in Wagon R CNG pulling of the car would be maintained using ECU systems which provides intelligent switching between the petrol and CNG.
