Country’s largest passenger car maker, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has announced the limited edition of the Ertiga’s middle variant (VXi and VDi) called the Paseo Explore Edition.
The limited edition Maruti MPV features some cosmetic changes and additional aftermarket features. It is available in Superior White and Silky Silver. On the exteriors, this limited edition gets the addition of a tail-gate mounted spoiler, blackened-out rear pillars and body graphics.
On the inside, this limited edition features a cool/warm box, premium seat covers and cushions, ambient mood lighting, a temperature-controlled storage compartment, a steering wheel cover, a hands-free Bluetooth kit, door sill guards, designer floor mats and a high-speed multi-charger. Other additional features include reverse parking sensors with display and a digital tyre inflator.
The Ertiga Paseo edition is available only in the VXi & VDi trims and comes with updates to its interiors and exteriors, with no changes to the engine options. The MPV is powered by the same 1.4-litre K Series petrol and the 1.3-litre DDIS diesel engine producing 95 bhp @ 6000 rpm and 90 bhp @ 4000 rpm respectively.
The company has not officially revealed the prices for the limited edition but expected to cost around Rs 20,000-30,000 more than the standard VXi or VDi model. The Ertiga facelift is scheduled to be unveiled at the GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show) on August 20, 2015.
