According to an AutoCarPro report, Mahindra could resurrect production plans for a coupe crossover, possibly referencing the Mahindra XUV Aero concept car that made its debut at 2016 Auto Expo.
At biennial event, the XUV Aero concept was displayed only to gauge public response. As predicted, it gathered many positive responses from the audience, however, the company has not yet finalized anything about the coupe crossover’s business feasibility.
If Mahindra is convinced of the Aero’s sales potential and demand, it could get green signal. That said, it could take around 2 years to bring into production. Furthermore, the reports states that they would like to launch it and some initial engineering work has already been done.
