Mahindra Scorpio facelift – to get redesigned dashboard and touch screen Infotainment system

It is now a known fact that, Mahindra will launch the Scorpio refresh in the near future and the new Scorpio’s test mules have been spotted many times while testing, sometimes on the highway and sometimes in the mountains and one can find the pictures of the camouflaged Scorpio refresh scattered across many automobile forums and websites, but till now, we had only a glimpse on the dashboard, which in itself did not reveal much, because it was heavily camouflaged at all times.

Now though, we have found images of the new Scorpio, which reveal the interiors of the car, and from these pictures, we can make out that the interiors have changed. The dashboard has been completely re-designed and through the pictures, we can see that, right in the centre of the dashboard, there is a gap which is big enough to fit a touch screen infotainment system, and so in all probability, the new Scorpio will be offered with a touch screen infotainment system, but the door panels look like they will be carried over from the current Scorpio. Apart from these two observations, it is hard to spot anything else, as it is heavily camouflaged. It is unclear right now, whether Mahindra will make any changes mechanically, but there is a good possibility that Mahindra will up the power output on the Scorpio by making a few small tweaks to ECU and other components.
