The country’s only electric car maker Mahindra Reva plans to launch Reva NXR electric vehicle (EV) in India by the end of this year. The Mahindra Reva NXR will be a four-seater car that will not only be more spacious & have a better quality interior than the previous Reva I model, but will also be blessed with a more efficient engine unit, delivering better performance.
Mahindra Reva NXR EV reaches a top speed of 104 kmph while providing a range of 160 km on a single charge. The NXR can text you with crucial information such as Time-to-full-change, pre-heat or pre-cool the car, mail you a report on your driving habits or even unlocking the door as you approach. It also features a revolutionary technology that address range anxiety– Revive, a remotely activated reserve charge will get you going, even when you’ve seemingly out of charge.
Mahindra Reva is yet to unveil the car officially, but spy shots suggest the car looks a lot like Maruti Suzuki Estillo and much taller than most other cars in the same category. Expect Mahindra Reva to price their new electric car in the range of Rs 4 to 5 lakh, where it will remain unchallenged as so far no other car maker sell electric car in the Indian market.
