Lamborghini’s SUV concept seems to be garnering significant attention, especially after news about the Italian sportscar maker getting ready to reveal the SUV at Geneva Motor Show next month. Lamborghini official, close to the SUV development has announced that if everything goes well and approval from their parent, Volkswagen Group, is given, Lamborghini SUV will be available in showrooms by 2015.
Although no official announcement about an SUV concept has been made by any Lamborghini officials, experts believe the new SUV concept will be powered by either a 700 bhp V12 mill that powers the new Aventador or a V10 570 bhp which powers Gallardo or a V8 500 bhp that powers Audi R8.
It will be interesting to see how the car buyers and auto industry would react to the new Lamborghini SUV as Lamborghini is traditionally a sportscar manufacturer. Once launched, Lamborghini SUV is expected to carry a price of more than $200,000. More details to be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show which kicks off on the 6th of March 2012.
