With the high power engine the new KTM Duke 390 will be launched with an ABS option as a safety feature.

The Duke 390 will be equipped with a Bosch’s 9M ABS mechanism which will have sensors at the front and the rear wheels, which will be connected to an independent ECU for the ABS that will also monitor the engine torque to optimize the braking. There will also an option to switch OFF the ABS if the rider wants to.

The KTM Duke 390 will be manufactured in the Bajaj’s Chakan based plant, and a localization has been done to keep the price tag significantly low. The price of the new KTM Duke 390 is expected to be under Rs. 2.5 lakh mark.
