KBR Motorsport shows-off its Chevy Beat tuning package

German tuner KBR Motorsport has decided to make a project out of the Chevrolet Spark (known as Beat in India). KBR Motorsport fits the car with a set of 17-inch Barracuda Voltec T6 alloy wheels, which sit closer to the body thanks to an H&R lowering suspension kit.

To give it that racing look, the tuner has also fitted two racing stripes going down the side of the car. CoverEFX has applied the film for the cars pillars and rear windows, and other components such as the fog lamp housings in the same color as the body. The final touch is the new sports exhaust system that includes a chrome tailpipe.

KBR leaves the under-hood installation untouched meaning customers can choose either the 1-litre or 1.2-litre petrol engine. But the exhaust system has been modified to sound racy.

That might not sound like very much, and the German tuning package adds €5,000 (Rs 3.40 lacs), which sounds like a lot of money for what you get, even more so if you take into consideration that the Spark is priced from €9,990 to €13,450 in Germany.

What we say? The above modified Chevy Beat might be the basic-variant PS. With no chrome strips on the radiator grille, no body colored mirrors, door handles and spoiler, and even note the absence of fog lamps, roof rails and rear wiper.
