Sports bike enthusiast, John Abraham gifts his sister-in-law, Anca Abraham an Audi Q3 on her birthday. Some 5-months back, he also gifted Khiladi Kumar oops! Akshay Kumar a self-customized Harley Davidson bike which cost around Rs 30 lakh. And as we all know, Audi India has always been very strong with its marketing and brand building campaigns that involve Bollywood A-list celebrities.
On the occasion, Mr. Michael Perschke, head of Audi India handed over the keys of the Audi Q3 to John, who in turn handed them to Anca, in presence of his big bro, Alan Abraham. While handling the Audi Q3 keys to John, Mr. Michael Perschke mentioned that “John has been associated with the German luxury car maker for quite long and it is amazing to extend the bond with his sister-in-law Anca Abraham.
Audi Q3 is a compact SUV which forayed in the Indian car market some time back. Audi Q3 has been doing well in the domestic market, being a compact size SUV it is a part of the new gen SUVs making their ways in India, shedding away the large size image of SUVs, Q3 is a leaner option for women too”.
John Abraham, while sharing his experience of driving an Audi car said that “he is a proud owner of Audi Q7 and wish to give the same driving pleasure in a compact form and therefore chose the Audi Q3 as a birthday present for her. Incidentally, I starred in the music video ‘Start Young’ featuring Audi Q3 and my love for this SUV began when I got a taste of its driving dynamics while shooting for the video”.
Refresher – Audi Q3 is powered with 2.0 TDi Quattro diesel engine fetching a peak power of 177 PS and maximum torque of 380 Nm. The top-end version of the Q3 is attached to Audi’s S-tronic gearbox and the Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The base Q3 is priced at Rs 26.21 lakh, while the top end variant is priced at Rs 31.49 lakh (both prices ex-showroom, Mumbai).
