Just few days ahead of the upcoming 2016 Auto Expo, Jeep has showcased has previewed its iconic Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT at a private viewing event in Bangalore.
Nothing much about the event is known at the moment, but it was the first Indian public appearance, and only selected guests had the chance to see in metal the iconic American manufacturer’s creation. The 2 above products plus the regular Grand Cherokee will be the product lineup for Jeep India, initially.
These 3 products that will launch the brand in India will initially be imported into the country via the as Completely-Built-Unit (CBUs), thus, the Jeep vehicles will be priced bit expensive. The brand will be marketed as a niche initially, and is expected to sell only 1,500-2,000 units in the first year through 15-30 existing Fiat dealerships in the 10-15 largest cities.
