Hyundai Motor Company India has trademarked the name ‘Hyundai Alcazar’ for the 7-seater Creta.
As per the document shared by our good friends at MotorBeam, the trademark was filed on 13 April 2020 and it is proposed to be used for a sports utility vehicle. This has led to speculation as to whether the upcoming 7-seater version of the Creta could be called Hyundai Alcazar.
The 7-seater Creta test mules were spotted in South Korea earlier this-year. The SUV is likely to have a separate grid and tail lamp with a C-shaped brake light. The test car was also equipped with twin exhausts similar to that of the latest generation 5-seater Hyundai Creta.
With news of the name trademarked, digital rendering maestro Kleber Silva has shared a speculative rendering the Hyundai Creta 7-seater, via a social media platform owned by Adobe which aims “to showcase and discover creative work.
