Honda’s next-Gen City to be unveiled on 25th November

After the recent success of Honda Amaze and also the renderings of the next-generation Honda City available for quiet sometime in the cyber space, Honda has now confirmed that the next-Gen City would be unveiled on 25th November this year in India which would be the global premiere of the vehicle. Depending upon the showcased concept C sedan earlier at the 2012 Beijing Auto show and the patent drawings of the same, the renderings of the next-gen City has already been viewed by our dear readers in our previous posts at BharathAutos.

The next-gen City is expected to be bigger (in both length and width) than the current City and would also feature new tail lights with LED ascents, projector headlamps, increased boot space and legroom. The rear portion of the car still being undercover would be finally unveiled. As per the reports obtained from Motorbash, many dealerships all across the country have started taking unofficial bookings of the Next-Gen City for booking amount ranging around INR 50,000.

Coming to the technical specifications, the Next-Gen City is expected to inherit the same 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine available in the current Honda City along with a newly introduced most fuel efficient 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine already equipped in Honda Amaze.
