Honda sets showcase Rebel 300 Cruiser at the Auto Expo 2018

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India will unveil their much awaited Rebel 300 Cruiser at the 2018 Auto Expo. This project has seen a bit of hilt in production due to pricing concerns. Now it seems back on track as Honda is now filling a patient for it.

The Rebel 300 has tasted success in growing International markets, largely due to the preference for Cruiser bikes. It may be likely that its India venture may also do well, given the popularity of Cruiser here. Honda is expected to bring the Rebel 500 it, though there is no news of it yet.

So, Honda may unveil a concept of the Rebel 300 in the 2018 Auto Expo, and expect the original one to be launched alongside the Rebel 500. The motorcycle could be built in India and exported to International markets. Launch is likely to happen about 2 years from now.

The Rebel 300 will feature a 286 CC liquid cooled, single-cylinder engine giving 27 BHP of power and 27 Nm of torque. It will compete with the bikes like the Royal Enfield Classic and Bullet 350. Prices are expected to be around Rs. 2 lakh, so expect the bike to pack a punch.
