Honda Cars India announced the price increase ranging from Rs 15,000 – Rs 60,000 across all its models with immediate effect. Sadly, even if you have booked a Honda car last year and still haven’t gotten hands on it, you will be billed higher as per revised prices.
Honda Cars India has hiked prices by up to Rs. 60,000 due to increase in excise duty.
The Brio gets a hike of Rs. 15,000-18,000, thus priced between Rs. 4.21 lakh and Rs. 6.30 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Amaze gets a hike of Rs. 19,000-26,000, hence priced in the range of Rs. 5.18 lakh to Rs. 7.78 lakh. Petrol variants are pricier by Rs. 19,000 to Rs. 23,000, while diesel trims are costlier by Rs. 23,000 to Rs. 26,000.
The bread-winner for Honda Cars in India, the City gets a price hike of Rs. 33,000-48,000. Petrol models are hiked by Rs. 33,000 to Rs. 46,000, while diesel variants are dearer by Rs. 37,000 to Rs. 48,000. Ergo, new price of Honda City ranges between Rs. 7.53 lakh and Rs. 11.53 lakh (all prices mentioned are of ex-showroom Delhi).
And finally the company’s flagship SUV is now more expensive by up to Rs. 60,000. New price starts at Rs. 20.85 lakhs and goes all the way up to Rs. 24.96 lakhs. However, Honda is yet to finalize the new prices of the recently-launched Mobilio MPV.
