The Splendor iSmart, which was showcased at the recently held Auto Expo, aims at further consolidating Hero MotoCorp’s leadership position in the 100cc segment.
Splendor iSmart, the much talked-about, stylish new offering from Hero MotoCorp, is now available at all Hero dealerships across the country, and is attractively priced at Rs. 47,250/- (ex-showroom Delhi), Rs 49,967/- (ex-showroom Mumbai), Rs 48,192/- (ex-showroom Chennai), Rs 48,549/- (ex-showroom Kolkata) and Rs 48,014/- (ex-showroom Bengaluru). It is available in four exciting colors with techno graphics – Sports Red, Leaf Green, Excellent Blue and Heavy Grey.
i3S is a revolutionary green technology that automatically shuts the engine when idling and turns it on, when needed, with a simple press of the clutch, giving more mileage in congested cities. Splendor iSmart comes with a 100-cc air-cooled, 4 Stroke Single Cylinder OHC engine that delivers maximum power of 5.74 KW (7.8 Ps) at 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 0.82 Kg-m (8.04 N-M) @ 4500 rpm. The Splendor iSmart is elegantly designed for universal appeal. Its aesthetic features include exciting body graphics, stylish alloy wheels and meter console.

Hero MotoCorp will soon launch an exciting multi-media campaign on Splendor iSmart across print, television, digital and social media. Revolving around the brand positioning of “Ek Smart Soch”, the TVC has been conceptualised by advertising agency JWT. It has been directed by Abhijit Chaudhury and produced by Mumbai-based QED Films.
At the recent Auto Expo – the Motor Show in Delhi, Hero MotoCorp demonstrated its technological excellence and innovative approach by showcasing new platforms, including path-breaking concept models – the 150cc diesel two-wheeler RNT, electric motorcycle SimplEcity, ‘iON’ and the 620cc Hastur. It also unveiled the new 250cc sports bike HX 250R and the first serial hybrid scooter from India – Leap. Hero MotoCorp also showcased a bouquet of exciting new scooters such as the 150cc ‘ZIR’ in two variants, 125cc ‘DARE’ and the 110cc scooter ‘DASH’
“This year at Auto Expo, we showcased over a dozen new products and concepts, which have created huge customer excitement. We have been receiving encouraging customer queries on launch schedules of the various models. We plan to roll out four other models – the newer versions of Pleasure, Xtreme, Karizma and ZMR – later this month,” Mr. Dua added.
