Just before the launch on November 2 (Friday), General Motors India has dropped another teaser image of its premium hatchback the Chevrolet Sail U-VA with a punchline ‘When life gives you more’ on their official Facebook page.
The Sail U-VA looks much better than other popular hatchbacks in this segment and follows the latest Chevrolet’s design theme featuring huge smiling front grille dominated by Chevy’s big golden logo. The interiors are all-new with no resemblance to existing hatchbacks by Chevrolet. Chevrolet Sail U-VA is expected to be very spacious and feature-rich.

Refresher – Chevrolet Sail will come in both diesel and petrol engine options. Where the petrol version will house the similar Smartech 1.2-litre petrol that currently does it duty to the Beat, the diesel version will be powered by the fiat sourced 1.3-litre turbo jet diesel engine, the similar is used by most of its competitors in India. So having powered by these proven and potent engines, fuel economy of the petrol and diesel versions will be around 18.2 kmpl and 22.1 kmpl respectively.
