Free service camps for flood affected two-wheeler’s in Chennai for 10 days

The rains in Chennai is one of the worst the country saw in the past decades and has caused tremendous damage in terms of life and property. There has been rescue and relief operations round the clock and will be carried out till the ordeal ends and life returns back to normal. Talking about restoring the normal routine TVS Motor, India Yamaha Motor, Bajaj Auto and Eicher Motors has decided to offer free service camps for 10 days to repair vehicles damaged in the floods and heavy rains. The decision for offering free service was made upon the request of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha.

In an official press release she said, “I have requested TVS Motor Company, India Yamaha Motor, Bajaj Auto, Eicher Motors to provide free service and based upon that, the companies have decided to conduct camps”

She further added, “Two—wheelers and autorickshaws were largely affected in Chennai, Kancheepuram, Thiruvallur, Cuddalore districts due to heavy rains that flooded several areas of Tamil Nadu. The camps would be held in Chennai, Thiruvallur and Cuddalore districts from December 12 to 21 at various locations.

Details about the service camps would be published on the government’s website.
