Ford India today officially launched their much awaited new Ford Fiesta Sedan Twins in a plush launch ceremony held at Hotel Grand Hyatt in Mumbai. The company has priced the car at Rs. 8.23 lakh for the base petrol variant and Rs. 9.27 lakh for the base diesel variant, both prices ex showroom Delhi.
Like the recently launched Hyundai Verna Fluidic, the new Ford Fiesta also spread across 4 variants and 2 engine options. The variants are Style, Trend, Titanium and Titanium+. All these variants will get airbags, ABS, EBD and tilt steering as a standard piece of kit. The segment topping features like cruise control and voice assisted controls will be present in the top end Titanium+ model.
The new Fiesta will come with a 1.5L Ti-VCT petrol and Duratorq TDCi diesel engines, which achieves fuel economy figures of 17 kmpl and 23.5 kmpl for the petrol and diesel engines, according to the figures from ARAI. Ford India’s dealers have already begun accepting bookings of this car from the Sunday, the 10th of July, 2011. Meanwhile, here are the prices of the new Ford Fiesta.
