Ford Endeavour Sport Edition has been spotted road-testing on Indian roads.

It was spied in Tamil Nadu and did not sport any camouflage. From the pictures clicked, we can notice the ‘Sport’ badging on the tailgate of the Endeavour. There is also a Sport sticker on the bottom of its rear doors which differentiates it from the current Ford Endeavour.

Other than that, the wheels may also get a metallic grey finish, which is evident from the pictures. Ford may even add a few design inserts inside the car, which could be revealed by the time it gets launched. These will further boost the appeal of the Ford Endeavour and try to fetch it some demand from potential customers.

Engine-wise, the Ford Endeavour Sport will carry forward the same 2.0 litre EcoBlue diesel motor as seen on the current model. This motor has undergone a recent update to make it adhere to the BS-VI norms and makes 168 BHP of power along with 420 Nm of torque. It will come mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission having the brand’s ‘Select Shift’ technology.

The Ford Endeavour Sport will come in the top-spec Titanium trim and is likely to have the option of a four-wheel drive system. When launched, the car will compete with the Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Alturas G4, Isuzu MU-X and the upcoming MG Gloster in the premium SUV segment. Ford are expected to ask a premium for the special edition, with prices set to be announced sooner than rather later.
