The Ford EcoSport has recently undergone a facelift just last-year and is accounting for decent sales numbers. The top trim, namely the ‘Titanium S’ version has been under going testing for sometime. Now, the car has been spotted in a dealership in Kerala.
As we look at these images we can say that the car comes with a whole lot of features. These include a sunroof, blacked-out grille, a new instrument cluster and so on. It will be interesting to see when would Ford start selling these models, though it is not been launched officially yet.
The Ford EcoSport is sold here with two engine options. The first is a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder Dragon petrol giving 122 BHP of power and 150 Nm of Torque The other is a 1.5 litre 4-cylinder turbo charged diesel, giving 100 BHP of power and 205 Nm of torque.
Both engines come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, with the 6-speed automatic being offered as an option. The Titanium S version of the EcoSport has a 6-speed manual gearbox. This can improve acceleration of the vehicle and can also play a part in improving its handling as well.
There have been rumours that the Titanium S version featured in dealership is a display model which will be exported to other countries. It may seem highly unlikely and we have not received any official word on its launch yet. When launched, it will compete with likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and the Tata Nexon.
