Italian car maker, Fiat India has updated for its range of cars including the Linea, Punto EVO and the Avventura for 2016 model year. All three models will now be offered with improved powertrains and a touch-screen infotainment system with navigation.
Starting with the new Linea 125 S, as the name indicates, the 125 S moniker stands its power output, powered by a 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol engine spits-out 125 PS at 5,000 rpm and peak torque of 210 Nm at 2,200 rpm, grabbing the title ‘most powerful sedan in its class’. The engine is coupled to a 5-Speed manual gearbox.
As far as the features are concerned, the Linea 125 S gets a 5-inch touch-screen infotainment system with GPS-guided navigation, cruise control, ambient lighting, rear sun curtain, rear view camera and disc brakes on all four wheels.
On the other hand, the Punto EVO and the Avventura has been rebranded too as Punto EVO PowerTech and Avventura PowerTech. The twins now generate the power of 93 PS from the 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine and the 5-inch touch screen infotainment system with navigation system comes as standard across all variants.
Prices of upgraded Fiat range (ex-showroom price, New Delhi):
- Linea 125 S – starts at Rs 7.82 lakh
- Punto EVO PowerTech – starts at Rs 6.81 lakh
- Avventura PowerTech – starts at Rs 7.87 lakh
