Fiat India plans to bring Bravo through CBU route

In India where every car manufacturer believes in extracting maximum possible sales from the market, some do think quite differently and one such brand is Fiat. The company has not been able to get enough sales during the past months but still the same is now planning to introduce another model soon. From the hatchback or small car category, it’s the world renowned Fiat Bravo.

The company has always been known for its top notch engineering and innovations and with the above car we can expect some such technologies to be offered. Fiat Bravo as being reported, will not be assembled or manufactured in India, instead it will be imported as a CBU unit.

Fiat Bravo is a supermini by Fiat which is much larger than the Grande Punto. It is more on the lines of the Chevy SRV that was launched by Chevrolet India which was also much larger than conventional hatchbacks. On the design front, the Fiat Bravo takes a lot of styling clues from the Punto.

In the list of small cars, Fiat Bravo is manufactured in the brand name of Italian Auto maker. The name for the Italian car was revised after the name was given to it ‘Stilo’. Bravo as a car is available in three door hatchback category and the Brava car an another variant is available in five door hatchback category. Presently available in two engine options one being the petrol and being the diesel version the car is a very powerful one with effective capacity to be offered to its customers.

Fiat Bravo as a car in the diesel engine variant comes in the hatchback category of cars. In the list of B+ segment cars it has a top speed of 190kmph. With a fuel consumption of 11kmpl on city roads and 14kmpl on highways it can be taken as a fuel efficient car. With a four cylinder engine the car offers a displacement of 1910cc displacement. Maximum power been offered by the car is 150bhp all at the rate of 4000 rpm and on the other hand the maximum torque been offered by the car is 305Nm at the rate of 2000 rpm.

Moreover with power steering and front disk and rear drum type tyres, the car offers six manual gears. The fuel tank capacity being 58lts, keeps on driving the vehicle for a long drive. Some other specifications of the car includes body coloured bumpers, tachometer, alloy wheels, a tripmeter etc. For the comfort and convenience of the customer it is equipped with climate controlled AC, power windows, central remote locking, remote fuel filler, rear wiper, rear defogger, folding rear seats. Further considering the safety of the passenger the car is made equipped with airbags, fog lamps, ABS and rear seat belts.
