GM India to recall 1.01 lakh units of Chevrolet Beat Diesel

Safety is one of the important concerns of today`s buyer and equally important for the seller. To meet the safety concerns of the driver and passengers General Motors has announced to recall 1.01 lakh units of the Chevrolet Beat Diesel, manufactured between December 2010 and July 2014, to replace faulty clutch pedal lever.

They found that the pedal lever might crack under continuous usage. Although there had been no accidents or damage of any kind reported due to this problem yet. Chevrolet says that it’s taking preventive action by issuing a recall of the Beat. The affected vehicles will be repaired free of charge at Chevrolet’s authorized service centers across the country.

As part of the recall, customers can also contact their nearest Chevrolet dealership and schedule an appointment for vehicle inspection and correction.
