July-2012 as turned the month of showering new launches and discounts. On this occasion we have learnt that BMW dealers are offering a massive discount of upto Rs. 6 lakh for diesel-powered 320d’s base Corporate Edition, while the high-end Dynamic variant is available at a discount of Rs 3-5 lakh. Also, the petrol-powered 330i, which comes with a 3.0-litre straight-six, can be bought at a discount of Rs 6-7 lakh.
BMW India will launch the new 3- series (F30) on July 27 in the first phase, and replace the present model. So the dealers are very keen of getting rid of the outgoing 3-series (E90) car, which they have stocked with them and are encouraging buyers to go for the old 3-series.
It is obvious that BMW India would want to clear up the existing stock of the old BMW 3-series (E90) to make way for the new BMW 3-series (F30). However, the new 3-series will be totally improved and enhanced as compared to the current version. Thus waiting for the new model is the best option.
Refresher – The new 3-series (F30) will initially come with a 2.0-litre diesel and two 2.0-litre turbo petrol engines with different power outputs, all mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. A more powerful 335i, which churns out a whopping 302bhp, will also make its way here later.
