We have been constantly reporting about the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS, since Bajaj Auto revealed the Pulsar 200NS earlier this-year in January. Recently we reported Pulsar 200NS heads for Karnataka markets after seeing success both in Maharashtra and Delhi. Now the first lot of Pulsar 200NS reaches the dealer yards in Mangalore and test-ride will be available soon.
Speaking to a guy at Bajaj dealer yard in Mangalore, he said the company has finished the dealership training and is set begin deliveries to soon. However, the price list is so far not disclosed so he remained tight lipped about the pricing. As I reached the dealer yard I kept admiring the Pulsar 200NS for about 10 minutes and finally asked the folks at Bajaj can I get a test ride? Sadly, he replied the bike has just reached the dealer yard, the bike had no fuel and battery too was not connected.
But I just liked the Pulsar 200NS, with muscular styling which redefines the tag line ‘Definitely Male’. Besides this I also liked the headlights, Bybre disk brakes, mono-suspension at rear, under belly exhaust and not to forget the 6-speed gearbox with liquid cooling system. We all know Bajaj has omitted kick-start from Pulsar above 180cc from long-time, now the company has also omitted the centre (main) stand from Pulsar 200NS(but the bike has provision to fit one later).
Overall I am impressed given the features on offer and the price point. Therefore investing of Bajaj Pulsar 200NS is a fair deal. The company is expected to launch the Pulsar 200NS in Chennai by mid-July and cover the entire India within two months. For the bikers who have been waiting eagerly for Pulsar 200NS’ launch in Karnataka, here is the bike available at your nearest dealers. So, for the rest of you be assured, its coming soon at a showroom near you.

Refresher – Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS will be powered by 200 cc engine, with SOHC 4 valve engine with triple sparks plugs producing 23.17 BHP of peak power at 9500 RPM and 18.3 Nm of peak torque at 8000 RPM, Bajaj claim the Pulsar 200 NS will hit 60 km/h in 3.61 seconds and 100 km/h in just 9.83 seconds. The Pulsar 200 NS is not the fastest Indian with a top speed of 136 km/h. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the Pulsar 200 NS uses liquid cooling. With the use of lighter components, the Pulsar 200 NS weighs 145 kgs.
