SPIED: Bajaj Pulsar 200NS gets ABS, but not fuel-injected

It’s been nearly a year since the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS was suspended from the Indian bike market. Now the two test mules of the Pulsar 200NS have been spotted outside Pune, hinting that the model would hit the showrooms again soon.

From the spy pictures, it is evident that of one of the test mules front disc brake is equipped with ABS ring while its impossible to see if the rear disc too has it. Keeping the Pulsar RS 200 in mind, we expect Bajaj to go for a single channel unit. Also hope the company re-introduces the yellow shade like the one seen in the test-mule.

The spy photographer was able to see the petcocks (the fuel reserve-on-off valve) on both motorcycles which indicate that there is no electronic fuel injection (FI) system. Thus, we can rule out the chances of a fuel injected Pulsar 200NS for now.

Although the production of Pulsar 200NS has been suspended due to a capacity scarcity at its Chakan plant, the demand hasn’t died down yet. The keen buyers are waiting for its launch since a year, hope Bajaj re-introduces it in Indian market soon. The Pune-based bike maker is scaling-up the production capacity at its plant, and once the facility is ready, expect the Pulsar 200NS to get new lease of life.
