Bajaj Auto to replace Avenger 150 with all-new the Avenger 180

Bajaj Auto have plans to bring an 180cc version of the Avenger to our market soon. While doing so, Bajaj will also discontinue the existing Avenger 150 from its line-up. Launch is scheduled to take place as early as next-month.

The company will give the Avenger 180 a all-new design and features compared to the Avenger 150. Mechanically, this bike is expected to be the same except for its engine. The Avenger 180 will borrow its engine from the Pulsar 180, which produces 17 BHP of power and 14 Nm of torque.

This engine will come mated to a 5-speed gearbox. ABS is expected to come  as an option on the bike and Bajaj could give disc brakes at both ends of the bike. The Avenger 180 will come with new technology such as LED lights and digital Instrument cluster.

Bajaj is expected to price the Avenger 180 aggressively to give it an upper hand. It will rival the premium Suzuki Intruder 150, which comes with good tech and great styling. So, it would be a challenge for Bajaj to lure buyers for its Avenger 180.
