Mahindra group chairman Anand Mahindra has tweeted a greeting to late Behram Dhabhar, the man behind the Mahindra Thar and as earned a respected in Team-BHP forum.
This tweet has come to the launch of the second generation Thar with just over a month to go. Anand describes Behram as Mahindra’s most enthusiastic “car man,” and whose enthusiasm brought life to the Thar.
Along with his post, Anand Mahindra retweeted a tweet by Behram’s son Cyrus Dhabhar, who shared some of his father’s photographs with one of Thar’s first three prototypes in June-2018. The team behind the Thar is seen atop the vehicle in one of the frames.
In a follow-up tweet, Anand Mahindra has said we need more people like Behram and he keeps inspiring people.
Behram Dhabhar, who died sadly in August-2016, had been working with automobile majors including Premier, Mahindra and TataMotors . He had also been a member of India’s rallying circuit. He was known popularly as “Mr. Thar” or “the father of the Thar”.
