On March 19, 2017, a Twitterati, named Anil Panickar, Tweeted the image of a modified 3-wheeler, which read ‘image shows how the Scorpio design turned generic and popular among Indian roads. This mans way of big dream’ and tagged Mahindra’s chairman.

Within next 10 mins of his tweet, Mr. Anand Mahindra replied saying ‘Iconic. A way to ‘Rise.’ Thanks for sharing this. Can you help locate him? I’d like to buy it for our museum & give him 4 wheels in return.’

So, after almost a month and half, Mahindra Kochi has managed to track down and, like the gentleman he is, stayed true to his words. As promised, the proud owner of the 3-wheeler ‘Scorpio’, was presented with a brand new Mahindra Supro Mini van.
An auto-rickshaw owner is from a small town named Pullad near Pathanamthitta in Kochi, Kerala, owner named Sunil PS, modified his Mahindra Alfa 3-wheeler passenger vehicle to look like the popular SUV, the Scorpio, complete with a glass panel, number plate housing, Xmas tree taillights and a spare wheel.
