News has also come that Tesla will also launch a fully-fledged pickup truck in the near future. Tesla CEO Elon Musk confirmed it via Twitter and also said that launch may take place at around 18 to 24 months. He then said that the EV maker will schedule its test drive and the space X facility in California.

Coming back to the semi-truck, it will be a unique product because it will be a fully electrified model. An emerged spyshot of the front showed that the semi-truck will feature flowing LED headlamps. Many rendered images have been made and it looks most likely to be carrying parts and look like other Tesla’s on-road.

Facts say that the semi-truck is expected to have a range of about 480 km. This may be followed by a new Roadster, but it is not yet revealed by Tesla. With this, Tesla will focus on giving 30% of trucking jobs involving 100 to 200 miles while details of the technology intended for this semi-truck remain scarce, as of now.
