Mahindra-Reva displayed the Sports version of its electric car e2o. The yellow paint and multi-colored decals wrapped around the sporty body kit including a front bumper lip, carbon-fiber side skirts, floating roof spoiler at the rear, give the car a more aggressive look. Other cosmetic upgrades includes black roof, black door handles and black external rear view mirrors.
Apart from the cosmetics and plastics the e2o Sports comes fitted with new blackened 12-spoke alloy wheels with low profile racing tyres, disc brakes with red brake calipers, projector headlamps, beefier front bumper, 2 sports seats on the inside and a roll cage.
The e2o Sports is powered by an 80 kW motor that produces 105 kW of power at 12,500 rpm which, as per the company helps the vehicle get from o to 100 km/h in 8 seconds. The car also has a maximum range of 200 km from its fully charged 384V battery and can reach upto a maximum speed of 120 km/h.
Although the specs look impressive but there are no plan to launch the Mahindra e2o Sport, instead Mahindra may soon launch a four door variant of the e2o. This variant will be longer and wider than the 2-door variant and will have added space for upto 5 adults.
