In the previous article, we mentioned the changes on the 2016 Toyota Innova and while typing this article I got few perceptions on my mind while some inputs are taken from Team-BHP forum, how the final car might look like! The front looks a bit similar to the 2014 Toyota Highlander sold in US, sharp look with the raised bonnet and new grille at first glimpse looks like Ford EcoSport.

And the rear quarter glass reminds me of the Mahindra Ssangyong Rexton. Although there is a little confusion in the taillight part, it looks more like inspired from the next-generation Hyundai i20, which itself is Subaru-styled. The front & rear looks completely new, there seems to be little changes on the side profile. Door panels, quarter glass on rear door looks exactly same as the existing Innova.
Toyota is trying to make Innova look more SUV-ish. Now looking by the overall design, definitely the next-generation model is longer and 3rd row is going to get better space, but the design of the D-pillar may make the 3rd row claustrophobic, instead of the present airy feel.
