Toyota Motor Company has introduced a facelifted 2021 Toyota Yaris in the Philippines, also known as the Vios in South East Asian markets.
The 2021 Toyota Yaris gets a redesigned front fascia with a new grille and reworked cluster headlamps. The new front bumper features redesigned pods with fog lamps. Within, the car is given an upgraded head-unit touchscreen infotainment that has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility along with other features such as automatic climate control with roof-mounted AC vents, cruise control and a sunroof.
The 2021 Yaris is sold in Southeast Asian markets with two options for the petrol engine. Which include a 1.3-liter model that produces 97 BHP and 123 Nm, combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 1.5-liter engine that produces 105 BHP and 140 Nm and features either a 5-speed manual or 7-speed CVT.
In India, the Yaris sedan is offered with a 1.5-liter petrol engine matched either to a 6-speed manual or a paddle shifter 7-speed CVT.
