Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd is a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan has released an shadow teaser of their upcoming Toyota Urban Cruiser. This is the first compact SUV produced by the company in India.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser is a re-badged version of the Maruti Vitara Brezza. A few cosmetic changes, including a new grille, are expected to help differentiate it from the edition of Maruti’s version.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser may get light colored interiors and the other standard features include such as a head-unit touchscreen infotainment, automatic climate control, and cruise control.
It is expected that the Urban Cruiser will be powered by the same Vitara Brezza 1.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol mild-hybrid powertrain. This engine produces 104 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm @ 4,400 rpm and is equipped with either a 5-speed manual or automatic 4-speed transmission.
Toyota hasn’t announced the Toyota Urban Cruiser’s launch date. Nonetheless, reports say that on August 22, 2020, bookings will open.
